Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor:

Even though I`ll be leaving Cedar Key at the end of May and won`t return until October I`d be very interested in knowing what`s being caught (besides stingrays and catfish) during the summer months.

Most of my fishing is inshore from my 13` aluminum boat and I rarely venture beyond Seahorse, snake and North Key and I`ve become, by necessity, adept at unhooking "stingers" in the process.

While fishing these areas for the past 11 years I`ve been fortunate to bring aboard small grouper, reds, cobia, drum, speckles etc. I usually use a light spinning rod and 6 - 8 lb. line and most of the time I`m drift fishing and jigging with a piece of shrimp on the hook.

Thanks for listening and I`ll be monitoring my computer from here on.
