Business Card Request Letter a Hoax?

Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

How disappointing to find that for a lack of two minutes of a background check, you too have been duped by an OLD email hoax, dating back in fact to 1989. For shame! in perpetuating this bothersome hoax. (Yes there is a real dollar cost to this in wasted postage, and wasted labor.)

For easy to check site for similar `feel good` requests like this, please check out <snopes.com>, among other sites.

Other than that gaffe, I did enjoy the article about the voles. Good story, there.
