Letters to the Editor

In response to "Time for Another Tea Party". The writer fails to
accept the fact that the rest of the county loves sticking it to
Cedar Key. We do not have enough votes or voices to remove from
office those who continue to abuse their position.

Last time I attempted to speak to a county employee on an unrelated
matter, the trough-feeder was out to lunch, at the doctor, or gone
for the day. When I was finally able to speak to this all important
being he had to ask his secretary to fetch the budget for his
department. In the course of conversation he whined, moaned and
shouted that Cedar Key would have to pay for everything now because
of the CRA.

So, how many more years before the big dock pier is rebuilt? Oh, and
let`s not forget the hours, days, or perhaps months discussing what
the historically appropriate color and or texture the dock surface
should be. Will the pilings be square or round?

More like a Mad Hatter`s tea party with a mullet throwing contest and
a parade. Pass the lemon please.
