Letters to the Editor

The people of Cedar Key have chosen their new members of the commision and as a candidate I applaud their decisions.

I want to thank the citizens who voted for taking the time and effort to be a part of the process that will govern their lives in Cedar Key for the next term. I learned a lot while running for the seat won by Sue Colsen and can only hope that others who are concerned about the direction our community will take in the future will take a little time and inform themselves as well. Our budget as well as the CRA budget are available at city hall and I urge anyone who is concerned with the spending of our tax dollars by our elected officials to obtain a copy so that they can be knowalgeble of how these funds are being spent. You do have a say.

I also want to thank all the people who supported my run for office and gave me their time and support, you know who you are. Look for me to be a sandspur in a flipflop.

Brian Ray Husson
