The Junior Class of Cedar Key High had a hughly successful pie auction November 19. One hundred eighteen pies were auctioned off by Maurice Healy with a spiel laced with humor and appreciation for the pies.

Although Dottie Grix won the bid for eighteen pies,including one of Deanne Watson`s pound cakes, Beth Davis was successful in making the top bid for another of Deanne`s cakes.

Several pies drew top bids of $80. One estimate of the total amount raised for the Junior Class was over $3000.
