ANNOUNCEMENT

A long-time winter visitor to Cedar Key, William Airth-Kindree, (known as "Airth") in his 71st year, went home to heaven August 13, 2004 surrounded by family in his home in Kendall, WI. Airth and his family loved to sail the waters of the Cedar Keys in his beloved sailboat, "The Faith of St. Andrew". A graduate of the Univ. of Western Ontario in Canada and the Univ. of Illinois in IL., Airth practiced medicine in a variety of capacities throughout his medical career. He retired as a research professor from the Univ. of Illinois in 1996 and since has travelled and devoted his time to his deepest passions: music and writing. He composed, arranged and played "The Cedar Key Symphony"

Airth was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Anne and their four daughters: Ilana Ludvigsen of Paxton, MA.; Norah Airth-Kindree of Eau Claire, WI.; Martha Airth-Kindree of Kendall, WI.; and Anne Kelsch of Grand Forks, ND. There are eight grandchildren: Elasa, Ariel, Jesse, and Eladra Ludvigsen; Airth, Heather and Rachel Burtman; and Sarah Kelsch.

Graveside services were held on August 14, 2004 at St. Luke's Cemetery in Glendale, WI. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
