William Ray Alford, born June 10, 1942, at Cedar Key, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at The Villages. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Elizabeth Alford, and his brother, Jackie Alford. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Blanche , a son, Todd, Columbia, South Carolina, and daughter, Theresa De Almagro, Pembroke Pines, a sister, Janice Alford Mitchell, Lakeland and two brothers, John Wayne Alford, and James Glenn Alford, both of Lakeland, and seven grandchildren.
A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 16, at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church, 7081 SW Hwy 42, Summerfield, FL 34491. Visitation is one hour prior to services.
In lieu of flowers, memoral contributions may be amde to St. Mark Catholic Church Foundation.
