CEDAR KEY SCRUB STATE RESERVE CELEBRATES NATIONAL TRAILS DAY

-Join a Park Ranger for a guided hike-

CEDAR KEY - The Florida Department of Environmental Protection`s Cedar Key Scrub State Reserve will offer a free Ranger-guided hike on June 1, 2013 as part of American Hiking Society`s National Trails Day. American Hiking Society`s National Trails Day is the country`s largest celebration of trails.

Park staff will lead this hike, which will be 1.3 miles through some soft sand and mild terrain. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring drinking water. Dogs are welcome to participate as long as they follow park rules, which include being on a leash (max. 6`), being well-behaved and having an owner clean up after them.
