Action at Robbie Blake`s Quarternote

Sunday night at the Quarternote Listening Room Rod Random was the featured musician. Rod, who accompanied himself with his guitar, sang many old favorites. "Up a Lazy River" drew appreciative nods and applause from the audience. Adding to the program were several audience members who stepped up to the microphone.

Rob Peck's harmonica harmony

Rob Peck, visiting from Saint Augustine, came first with his harmonica to join Rod. The crowd demanded an encore. Later a young man named Steve Stump delivered the heartfelt ballad "When I fell for you", that was very well received.
Responding to a request by Donnie Beckham, Rod Random resurrected an oldie, namely "Smoke, Smoke that Cigarette." Beckham then came forward to belt out "Help Me Get Through the Night." Then Beckham, Robbie Blake and Rod Random wrapped up their collaboration with an inspired rendition of "Amazing Grace.`
