Cedar Key Arts Center December Show
Giftable Art Priced Under $75

The opening reception for the Giftable Art Show will be held on
Saturday, December 6, 2008, 5 - 7 PM, at the Arts Center.

Artists from all over our region will be showing their works. All
works will be for sale and will be priced under $75. This will be a
wonderful opportunity to purchase Christmas gifts right here in Cedar
Key. Jewelry, original glass art, egg tempera, water colors, wall
hangings, mosaics and knitted fancies are but some of the items you
can expect to find at this exhibition.

The exhibition will run through the month of December and artists will
replenish their displays as works sell.
Linda Flynn December Featured Artist in
Arts Center Members` Gallery

Linda Flynn is the featured artist in the Arts Center Members` Gallery
for the month of December. The opening reception will be Saturday,
December 6, 2008, 5 - 7- PM at the Arts Center.

Linda Flynn has been on a quest for meaning for much of her life and
we, the public, are the beneficiaries of that quest. Linda has found
her visual voice in her vibrant and expressive paintings which almost
always relate to the natural world. Before coming to painting, Linda
wrote poetry and was a photographer.

Born in Vernon, Florida, in the log cabin her grandfather built by
hand, Linda eventually became a teacher and a teacher trainer. She
lived and worked in Sarasota with her husband, Kevin, for 30 years.
She came to Cedar Key in 2000. She is an active and enthusiastic
supporter of the arts in Cedar Key. Come and view her art
