Ann Kamzelski

During the month of March Ann Kamzelski, whose creative photographs were displayed in the member`s gallery at the Cedar Key Arts Center, ran a contest for viewers to guess the number of birds that it took to create her work titled "Birds of Paradise".

The winner is Cathy Techtmann of Wisconsin with a guess of 527. The actual number of birds in the image is 542; 40 tricolored herons, 44 ibises, 92 great blue herons, 110 great egrets and 256 flamingos.

Anyone who missed the show can see Ann`s work at the Island Arts gallery on Second Street in Cedar Key starting in early April.
