1898 - A petition made by several citizens asking that the board open a new public road commencing at Fowlers Bluff and run in a NE direction passing just N of John Drummonds field, then NE to Narrow Gap (Long Pond), then N along Thomas Tillis's pasture fence, then NE to Bryant Smith's pasture fence, then E to Chiefland Road about one mile from Bryant Smith's Fence. The petition was considered by the Board and ordered that it be laid over till the next meeting for consideration.

August, 1941 - The Army Air Corp., was considering establishing an air filed and possible bombing range in Levy County between Bronson and Williston. 600 to 1000 acres would be needed to establish said air field and bombing range. The Army Air Corp. is requesting the land be issued at no cost to the government.

Fictitious names registered for the year 1945 as follows: Fugate's Peanut Shellers (Harold T. Fugate); Sam's Liquor Store (W.H. Stephens, Pete Golden); Lewis' Barber Shop (Charles L. Lewis; Quality Cleaners (Fannie R. Smith).
