Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

The airboat event was not the only show in town this past weekend.
Cedar Key played host to many aircraft of apparent vintage status (35
or more). Included in this group was someone`s fantasy of a
canoe/ultra-light contraption. This craft came dangerously close to
providing the Cedar Key fire department with an unscheduled afternoon
rescue/body identification. The individual piloting this craft
narrowly missed a pine tree and electric lines just a few feet from
my house.

It is my sincere hope that this individual meets his demise elsewhere
in a timely manner and that he considerately takes that journey solo.

Sincerely,

Eve B. Jensen
