One of Cedar Key`s newest businesses is Accord Insurance, which offers a wide range of insurance coverage and is located at the center of town. The office overlooks the comer of Second and D Streets. As an independent agency, many kinds of coverage are available according to Mike Williamson who owns the agency. In addition to being and insurance agent, Mike is a licensed securities dealer and can execute orders for stocks and bonds.


Williamson and his business partner Judy Duval moved to Cedar Key in October of last year from Chiefland and Lake City respectively. Together they offer insurance policies for individuals and businesses. Vehicle insurance, health insurance and homeowners insurance are only a few of the types of coverage they can provide. Mike Williamson, who is the President of the Cedar Key Lions Club, is active in the Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys saltwater fishing and restoring the old building in which his office is located.
