Chief Swogger to Leave Cedar Key

Police Chief Dan Swogger submitted his letter of resignation to the Cedar Key Commission on August 28, effective September 11, 2005. Chief Swogger who has been Chief of Police for three and one half years plans to give a farewell at the City Commission meeting September 6. Mayor/Commissioner Paul Oliver told Cedar Key News that two applications for the job of Police Chief have been received.
