City Prepares for Possible Lawsuit

City Prepares for Possible Lawsuit

Staff Writer

The last item on the agenda for next week`s regular city commission meeting indicates the possibility of a lawsuit facing the city.

The commission is to discuss committing $100,000 from city funds to cover legal expenses for the potential lawsuit over their recent ruling in the Meade/Sensenig land use petition.

Asked to comment on the issue, Commissioner Heath Davis said, while not going into details, he urges citizens to attend next Tuesday`s meeting in order to be informed on the important facts in the case.

The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2005.
