Judge Takes Pipeline Process from FL DEP

Linda Young, of the Clean Water Network of Florida, has announced that late March 14 a federal court ordered the U.S. EPA to take control of the Buckeye Technologies pulp mill waste pipeline permitting process. What will happen at a recently scheduled (November 6-10) Administrative Law court hearing in which a number of citizens brought suit against co-defendants Buckeye Technologies and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection remains unanswered.
