$300,000 USDA Check for City

$300,000 USDA Check for City

September 26 USDA Rural Development awarded a grant of $300,000 for purchase of property that will be used by clam farmers to park their trailers at the Anchor Hole public launch site while working on clam leases. A symbolic check was accepted by Vice Mayor/Commissioner Vanessa Edmunds from Chuck Clemons, USDA Rural Development State Director.

Representing the USDA,US Senators, C.K.Commission, and C.K.Aquaculture Assoc., (l. to r.) Ann Bowen, Chris Reynolds, Mary Chiles, Kevin Doyle, Vanessa Edmunds, Pat O`Neal, Sue Colson, Mike Hodges, Chuck Clemons and Rick Viele.
