Community Service Announcement

The afternoon workshop for small businesses will take place at 3 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room of the Cedar Key Public Library.

Dr. Phil Geist will bring the Florida Small Business Mobile Center. The Center provides service to rural and small businesses after a hurricane or other local emergency.

His presentation will cover what information you need to have handy in case of an emergency. The portable office is hard to miss - it`s an RV about 60 feet long!

He will have handouts and be able to answer your questions. Even an emergency elsewhere can make you eligible to apply for funds it it causes your business to decline.
