Lions Give $$$$$ For Playground

Staff & Students of Cedar Key School

The Cedar Key Lions Club presented a check for $10,000 to the playground fund for Cedar Key Elementary School. The check was accepted by Sue Ice, Principal of Cedar Key School, and Sue Penney, Playground Chairperson.

This donation represents a substantial portion of the funds needed to complete the playground project, which is designed to upgrade the playground as well as enhance the children`s outdoor experiences by providing exercise and fitness opportunities.

Lions Club President Mike Day moves the child up the ladder which represents funds raised for the playground project. Photos were taken by Lion Rory Brennan.
