Ellen "Red" Dunn, 79 of Chiefland, passed away May 14, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Lewis County, KY on April 22, 1933 to the late Curtis and Evelyn McClees. Mrs. Dunn was a homemaker and member of Rosewood Baptist Church. She was most proud of her family and loved Jesus, her church, singing, praying and Bible studies. She is survived by her daughters, Gail (Ernie) Sullivan of Chiefland, Patti (Lloyd) Collins of Cedar Key, Terri (Rick) Ezell of Chiefland; sons Wesley (Darla) Dunn of Mt. Wolf of PA, Scott (Eileen) Dunn of VA; sister Charlene Skidmore of Palmetto, FL; grandchildren Aaron, Candace, Seth, Jordan, Ryan, Riley, Katelyn, Michael, Sean; great grandchildren Regan, Tavion, Grayson, Jaelyn, Griffin, Wesley; caregivers Brenda Hallman, Kimberly Murphy, and Kari Barajas. She is preceded in death by her husband in 1996, Wesley Dunn, Sr, grandson Rickey Ezell, and sister, Janet Liles Funeral Services will be Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Chiefland with Pastor Billy Philman and Pastor Marty Medford officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior the service. Interment will follow the service at Chiefland Cemetery with Pastor Mark Collins officiating.
