The Cedar Key Arts Center honored local painter Bill Roberts with a one man show that opened Saturday, March 4. More than eighty art lovers, some of them Roberts` students, came to the opening, viewing about thirty-five paintings, several of which were claimed by buyers.

Nautical scenes were abundant in the Roberts show.

Bail now, fish later.

Bill Roberts paints, teaches painting and is an active fishing guide. His show will be at the Atrs Center through the month of March. Photographs put online cannot do justice to his work. Please visit the Arts Center where one can study Boberts` paintings in the peace of the gallery.

Editor`s Note: Bill Roberts was profiled in Cedar Key News, in the January 26 issue by our writer, Terri DuLong. Her article may be read online by going to the January 27 posting.
