Asclepias Tuberosa

An exhibit of watercolor botanical illustrations of Florida native and illustrator Susan Trammell, will be on display from January 10th until March 2nd at the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, 4700 SW 58th Drive, Gainesville.

The exhibit will feature paintings and photographs depicting eighty-two species of plants native to our State. The illustrations have been reproduced in "A Guide to Landscaping with Florida Native Plants", written by Dr. Gil Nelson, to be published in the fall of 2003.

The opening reception on January 10th will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. There will also be acoustic Celtic music by "Irrational Exuberance", to accompany the exhibit. The original paintings, along with museum quality "giclee" reproductions will be available for purchase.
